the current one are the fancy Stillen Headers that Glen installed for me.
The first run through, the certifier complained that the headers were too close to steering column, so off the headers went to be modified. An exhaust shop cut a couple of 'angle' sections and rotated them to form a bump in the manifold. The bump is right close to the block and does generate some space.
The certifier is now complaining that the exhaust is still not far enough from the column! he wants 25mm and I am not certain that the zed had that much to start with. Can someone with a standard NA exhaust please check how close it sits to the steering column for me? If there is now more clearance than standard then I can go back and allow him to suggest a solution that is practical. Sadly he has been a bit of a @#$%&@! so far - even my mechanic guy is astounded!
Thanks in advance
