Have a small oil leak from crankshaft seal. Can anyone advise is this a major or an easier fix? Any special tools required - price of parts?
Anyone know who could do this job in Chch?
Thanks

minor but major. might as well replace the timing belt and tensioner and a new crank gear at the same time.
the hardest part would be removing the crank gear 90% of the time there seized onto the crank making it difficult to remove and most people just cut the crank gear off with a dremel and cut off wheel/ grinder and buy a new crank gear.
replacing the seal itself isn't to hard but getting to it is time consuming.
