and he never put insurance on it either :( :( :(
That's awful to hear! :(

My Z doesn't get used often now, but if you spot me (can't miss the plates) waive or flash your lights!

his house in new windsor

so, we got it yesterday
its in a VERY good condition, suprisingly
they didnt even bother taking out a 1k stereo, with double din and touch screen etc
I even called Glen since we were having some issues with starting the car

bought a new ignition barrel, and ALMOST everything works
apparently, some wire must have been cut that tells the starter motor to go though
so, the car is currently sitting at an auto electrician

speaking of which:
is anybody here an auto electrician, and can possibly give me a hand with my R34 GTT skyline

They hardly ever fail on Z32s so there are literally dozens of them kicking around second hand. $500 would be for a brand new one - kind of stupid really given they don't normally cause trouble.

I guess the tools who stole the car left the starter engaged and blew it up by over speeding it. Thieves should loose a hand.

If a NEW starter was fitted then that is a fair price/actually cheaper than expected.
