Basic run down for the afternoon is Platinum Wheels are hosting our club members at the shop for an afternoon, they will put some of the cars on their cornerweight scales and have a chat about suspension tuning, as well as get to know a little bit more about our club.
They will run through some wheel and tyre tech stuff, to give you more education on how wheels are manufactured and produced, as well as tyres , different types of tyres, how to know how old they are and what balancing is.
Finally we will put a car of the club up onto our 4 post hoist and go over it like we would if it was going for a LVVTA cert and explain some of the things that the cert people will ask you.
Its all designed to give you more information and understanding about modifying your car legally and safely.
With pizza's and cold refreshments after.
