I"d not waste my time with all that. Just get a aftermarket one and op gauge, all the replacement ones fail. I've been through 4-5 of them, and 4 of them were different brands.

Anyone got suggestions of wreckers I can try for zed parts?

Unless you got hoots of cash, I'd stick with the NA, you'll not get a TT as tidy as your NA without spending a fair bit.

You mean the centre bearing was replaced ???
Did they check the unijoints on the d/s at the same time ???

Yeah the oil should make the gear changes easier !!!
I use Fuchs, a german brand, and am fairly impressed, have used it in a number of my cars.

BNT automotive supplies it...

Anyone ??? Need both the pinouts, and if anyone knows of a source for the plugs themselves ?????? Going to have a wee play with a serial connection via pc to car !!

Try a little baby oil to soften the rubbers up, this works sometimes. And if you're getting desperate (this is only temporary) use a bit of vasoline - but its obviously mucky on the glass, so is just for emergencies.
