Hiya Can't say much about the engine noises but it sounds as if the bearings are on their way out in your gearbox (the shafts spin when in neutral with the clutch out and stop when you push the clutch in.) Well ko, my 1500 5K corrolla motor was ported,bored acrbed etc etc etc for ralleying, and it ran a 2 1/2 inch pipe with straight through mufflers.
